Filming location Catherine's Bar is a fictional bar in the fictional town Honoré on the fictional island Saint Marie. In series 1 and series 2 of the show, the real life bar La Kaz in the real life town Deshaies was used for filming the scenes at the fictional Catherine's Bar.

The leading detective always gets to live in the picturesque shack on the beach and this is filmed in Anse La Perle (La Perle Beach), one of the most beautiful spots in Guadeloupe with miles of unspoiled sand and palm trees. When the crew are not filming, the shack is packed away so it doesn't wash away with the tide.
