At the start of the brewing, the malts and hops are boiled. Several finishing hops are added at the beginning of the boil, 5 to 15 minutes. For a hoppy aroma, dry hops are added. For English IPA pale malt forms the bulk of the grain bill unlike the 2-row American malt for the American style IPA.
